Lower Tickets

How can we lower prices at Disneyland for Tickets and Food?
I understand that as far as lowing prices on anything it would cause repercussions. Such as even with prices the way they already are the park is already extremely busy. Lowering the prices on tickets and passes would cause the parks to be even more crowded .Lowering prices on food would cause lines at eateries to be almost uncontrollable. But to every problem there is a solution. So what could it be?
The answer is that Disneyland has figured out almost exactly what it needs in terms of demand, price points and strategy.
The solution for guests of Disneyland is to vote with your feet. If you want to go to Disneyland, you pay what they want. There is no other Disneyland to go to. If enough people decide not to go, they will lower the prices. If you think the food prices are too high, don’t eat the food. Eat before you go to the park and leave the park for lunch and dinner. If enough people do this, Disneyland will lower the prices.
Disney has a positional advantage over pretty much every other theme park in the world because of their history and quality of service. Yes, there are other “Disneylands (and Disneyworld) but they are so far apart, they don’t really compete with each other. There are other theme parks, but none has ever come close to the high level of attraction Disney gets. The Disney parks are essentially a monopoly, at least in the eyes of those who love the experience or long for the experience.
Sometimes Disneyland does lower prices, but they are still going to be a premium. I think with the economy lagging the last few years, they have offered deals on admission and maybe deals on food packages.
The only way to have lower prices is to lower the demand (customers) at the parks and how much they spend on food. Once the prices fall to a certain level and admission rises again, the prices will also rise again.
The solution is for Disney is to find a good compromise between prices and crowds. They seem to do a decent job of that.
